Questions:

Describe your music for someone who’s never heard it?
It’s always hard to put it into words that feel accurate but I would describe my music as alternative music with Congolese influences.

Who are some artists who’re inspiring you right now?
I’ve been really inspired by Arlo Parks. She makes music that people really connect to emotionally, It’s been amazing to watch her rise and grow as an artist. I also think BLACKSTARKIDS are amazing because they’re in their own lane musically and carving their own path that feels really fresh.

What’s been your highlight of 2020?
One of my highlights in 2020 was getting a chance to learn how to hangout by myself. I took a lot of walks and bike rides by myself and I found that’s theres a lot to benefit to learning how to be comfortable alone.

What are you most excited about for 2021?
I’m most excited about possibly being able to play and attend some shows in the fall. Hoping for the best.

Tell us about a band/artist that you’re excited to hear more from in 2021?
Someone else I’m really excited about is Lous and Yakuza. She released an amazing album this year and I’m excited for anything she’s gonna be putting out in the future.
