We caught up with our designer, Paul, and chatted about his artwork and the poster he designed for the recent Moon Duo show in Brighton at St Bart’s Church.

‘I moved into design after calling it quits on a life on the road touring as a musician, it’s been a long journey to get here…

A lot of my design is hand drawn. I’m incredibly lucky that FORM pretty much give me free rein over what I produce, plus ever since I was in school, I always wanted a job where it was ok to wear my own clothes & listen to music all day!

Designing this Moon Duo poster was a massive buzz for me as I’ve been a fan of Wooden Shjips for a while, so to be able to work on something for one of their side projects as well as it being a show at St Bartholomews, meaning I got to draw it in all it’s beguiling enormity was a super rewarding experience. I try to keep my work looking consistent and hand made, avoiding overly digital looking aesthetics, I love making pieces colourful but also have a penchant for the darker side of things, meaning I am comfortable switching from colourful psych artwork like this poster to darker themes & colour pallettes for heavier bands like Conjurer.’

Stay tuned for posts on Paul’s artwork.
