This week features NYC art punks Gustaf, anonymous French producer Godford, Bristol’s Clara Mann and more…
We told you about her a few months ago – London based alternative R&B singer AMA mixes pristine production with off-kilter rhythms, often dealing with love and relationships in the process. She is back with another banger “Facts” out on Dirty Hit.
We can’t recommend GODFORD enough – the anonymous French producer based in Paris released “Non Binary Place” a few months ago. Like another famous French act Daft Punk, Godford keeps his face secret, he explains: “I’m hiding my face because I think my body isn’t reflecting who I really am. When I meet people in real life I feel I can express easily who I am but through a screen or any media I’m feeling uncomfortable.” Non Binary Place is out now on Pack Records.
Caro♡ is a French singer & songwriter now based in London – the lead singer of Planet 1999, rolling out her solo project in 2021. She has collaborated with Charli XCX, Yaeji, Shura and Clairo and scored Nasty Cherry’s Netflix documentary & written and produced for Nasty Cherry. Her first single ‘hide me here’ received amazing support from on Spotify’s New Music Friday or Apple’s New In Pop playlists.
Newcomer Bristolian singer-songwriter Clara Mann released her debut single ‘I Didn’t Know You Were Leaving Today’ out now via Sad Club Records – a graceful and wonderfully emotive folk song. We just can’t wait to hear more from Clara.
Meet Brooklyn art-punks Gustaf! The art punk 5 piece have rapidly established a reputation as one of New York’s “hardest working… and most reliably fun bands” (BrooklynVegan). They have just released a single “Mine” on Royal Mountain Records – go check them out!
